Bargain Bag

I need a small black handbag for an event in January. I tend to use backpacks rather than handbags and for this occasion a backpack just won't do. I had a wee look round the shops but decided to be a bit more frugal. On a 'preloved' online shop site I found lots of potentially suitable bags and this is the one I chose. It is  dinky but I really only need to carry a comb and a few small essentials. I'm pleased with it and it'll do the job perfectly. It looks unused and was a good deal less expensive than it would have been in the shops. Bargain! 

Had a great time with G. We've known each other since 1979 when she was a colleague of Cameraman. We've seen each other through many changes. Her train wasn't too late and she's now away to another of her friends in Edinburgh. 

Had a good walk this morning and now, with an eye on the weather forecast, we're getting ready for a domestic weekend.
