Quick before it goes

The first and, who knows,  maybe the only snow of the winter is falling. It's really wet and slushy. Not pleasant to be out. The wind is picking up and the temperature is rising. The long settled spell of weather has broken. 

Here is some snow/slush/ice on fennel seed heads. Just for the record. 

It's going to be a day in the house here, apart from essential Flora walks. I'll have to keep myself busy to prevent cabin fever.
