Redwings
Part of the thrush family. They arrive from Iceland, usually in November in large groups. There have been hundreds yesterday and again today. What a noise they make all chattering away. They are rarely seen in gardens but prefer hedges or fields
I have taken lots of photos while they stripped my Rowan tree. The last few I thought you could play " How many redwings can I see". I averaged about 6 in each.
We have quite a lot of snow so I have only been out to fill the bird feeders.
