8 Inches and years

I must have missed quite a few blips in years past and I am not sure when I actually started . My son in law encouraged me start so I thank him and as BookyGoatherd started him , I should thank her too.
As you can see we have snow. About 8 inches, so my trousers got wet when I fed the birds. The redwings were back and now none of my rowans have a single berry. They were gone by mid morning . We had plenty goldfinches and I was amused by a small one that could not get on the feeders as it was too busy so it went down into the snow to get what the others dropped. 
It was bin day and Foloh had a struggle to pull the bin up the drive, Then he got a brush and cleared the windowsills.
A pity we did not have L to build a snowman.
