28 Years Later

It’s been 28 years since I crossed this swing bridge at the start of the Milford Track and it was an incredible joy to do it again with Mauzee.  It was a day walk this time to the freedom walker’s Clinton Hut, a 10km round trip.  We were ecstatic to wake.up to a clear blue sky as it meant we were going to see the Clinton River at its very best.  I have added some extras you might enjoy.  I don’t think Mauzee has enjoyed a home made egg sandwich as much as the one in the extra!!  It’s no wonder the Lord of the Rings movies were made in this region of New Zealand.  It was definitely like visiting Middle Earth at times.  We’re off to Queenstown tomorrow where we’ll play four rounds of golf over a week on some of the most majestic golf courses in NZ.
