Wren brooch

It’s been a busy day of sorting out various technical issues. My tumble dryer stopped working yesterday because the cover for the pipe which leads to the outside of the house had become clogged with fluff. I went outside and took the cover off the outside wall and cleared it this morning and the machine started working straight away.

I then had to sort out why my wildlife camera’s micro SD card wasn’t being recognised, which meant that I couldn't review the night's wildlife recording. Nothing I did could make it work, so I’ve had to order another one. 

I’ve also made a double batch of the famous ‘Nutty Joy’ biscuits (a special request from The Traveller, who wants to take a supply with him when he goes to visit his best friend tomorrow), and I’ve made a batch of cards for our church to send to people for whom this will be their first Christmas after bereavement.

And suddenly it was dark and I hadn’t taken a single photo. This little silver brooch came to the rescue. I haven’t worn it for ages, but I found it in my jewellery box this morning and decided I’d like to start wearing it again. Here it is, after I’d given it a good polish. I wonder if you can guess why I like it?
