More remembering…

This is a photo I took on Friday outside Westminster Abbey…of the crosses for the regiment our son is now in. I should have taken one today of one of the memorials plus wreaths that we passed in the car.

I was quite surprised to find my spinning class actually stopped for two minutes silence this morning at 11am…but I am glad that this was happening in all the classes. 

So nice to see the sun and blue sky today but chilly.

We collected the grandchildren as usual, they had been on a school trip to Buster Farm in Hampshire where they were learning about the Stone Age and Iron Age there in the reconstructed buildings. They liked ‘making fire’ and also made rings with wire. As it was quite a long journey L read a whole book of 299 pages on the journey!
