Remembering…

Prompted by a fellow blipper I thought I would post this of my husbands parents taken near end of WW2. They met during the war…she was a nurse in the Queen Alexandra's royal naval  nursing service and he was in the Royal Marines. He had an injury to his hand from a training exercise in the U.K.,  one finger had to be amputated  and she was the nurse who looked after him!  I think this may be their wedding photo as they got married while on leave. 

Another gloomy day. We took the twins to a playground and then to swimming. There was a ‘horse’ in the playground like ai posted an old photo recently. See extra…it had a date of 1994 on it so an elderly piece of equipment that has survived unlike the one in the other playgrounds near us.

Spent some time sorting out old toys today to ask my children if we need to keep them, or sell/ give away.
