Colour on a grey day

The weather has been rather strange today: mild, grey, and still to the extent of almost feeling flat. While we would have liked to have seen some sunshine, we're very glad that there has been no wind nor rain here on the Northumbrian coast. 

My main blip shows some colour that we spotted as we reached the end of a circular walk around Alnmouth. (The photos that I took on the beach earlier in the day are almost monochrome). 

In my extra, there is some more colour in the pink Harris Tweed skirt that my not-so-little sister handed over to me yesterday. When she saw it in a charity shop for £10, she knew that I would love it. She was right.

Our other excursions today were for a run, to buy cake from the deli to go with a cup of tea/coffee this afternoon, and out for dinner this evening at the restaurant a couple of doors down from our accommodation.

Also today I have read my book and beaten Mr hazelh at Scrabble (again - I am on a roll!)

Exercise today: 30 minute run; walking (19,835 steps including run).
