Fireworks!

Lots of fireworks have been going off near us for the last few days because of both Diwali and Nov 5th.
This was taken last night when I was watching the Lensbury display from the other side of  the river. ( Not a good photo!) I hadn’t bought tickets for the event as I know from friends it is very noisy and crowded and I wasn’t sure what the weather would be like!

The extra is taken from the newly refurbished Teddington Lock footbridge. 

Today we had a visit at lunchtime from a cousin we have not seen for months and after that I went to the allotment for a while to plant the rest of my strawberry plants that a neighbouring plot holder had given me.
