Parsley….in the 1980’s

This is a photo of one of our cats from the 1980’s before we had our first child! We had three cats at that time…the first one came from my parents farm and my mother had called him Scampy…but we renamed him Scampi and the next one we called Chips and this third one Parsley! This is before our daughter was born when we had been given a carrycot and I had made this ‘teddy’ toy from a kit. Note the Laura Ashley wallpaper in the background! We still have the ‘teddy and the three others from the set. I have been going through photos of our pets to use for my ‘Life Story’ book. We had three other cats when we moved to our present house.

After Pilates and coffee this morning my hairdresser came to the house and my friend who has hers cut too came over.

We collected the children from school as usual, they were n good form and before we left we went into the garden to have some sparklers. This year because of gym and football practice times they are not able to go to their school fireworks display but saw two out of their bedroom windows on Saturday…one a very big one at a David Lloyds Club nearby. I like sparklers too so thought it would be nice for all of us!
