Roses
After two consecutive “school” nights out , I was weary this morning. However, I had to log on to work to finish something off and also to give some support to a colleague who had a big piece of work on today. I did what I could, then went out for a walk, as I hadn’t the energy for a run. I picked up a few provisions for lunch, then came home, to check I with work again.
I had a hospital appointment at lunchtime, and I was very pleased to be discharged from the clinic at long last. Hurrah! It’s been just over two months since the infection took hold, and eventually now it is healed up. I have been left with a small scar. I have an appointment in few weeks where it will all be looked at again.
Once home, I grabbed some lunch and then spent the rest of the afternoon working,. It was pitch dark by the time I logged off. BB was on his way home for a night out with his school friends. He eventually appeared around 8pm. I had made macaroni cheese, which we wolfed down. His friends were already out, but he was waiting on another one returning and they were going to head into Edinburgh together to meet up with everyone else. I did go out for a few steps, as my step count today was pretty poor, but it was raining, so I didn’t go very far at all.
I thought BB would be out by the time I got back, but in the end his friend didn’t get home till much later, so they didn’t bother going out. I don’t think BB was too bothered, as he joined me on the sofa for some TV. TT was out eating and drinking with some friends.
I walked past these late flowering roses this morning.
