Dahlias

I slept late, but got up and went for a walk to properly wake myself up. It was a grey day, but at least it was dry. I came home, then went out for a run. Another slow six miles done.  TT had been tidying the garden, but then went off to church. He  came back with lunch, which was a real treat for us, and very much enjoyed.

Mid-afternoon came and the boys caught a bus into Edinburgh. They had tickets for the Scotland v Fiji match at Murrayfield.  I walked down into town with them, left hem at the bus stop, and went to pick up a few things. I walked back around by the river.  Once home I pottered, then watched most of the rugby.

BB really enjoyed it, TT said it was too one-sided for him. The boys ate in Edinburgh. I cooked a pea and paneer curry and watched some more Slow Horses.

These dahlias are probably getting towards the end of their flowering. I expect the Council will clear the beds soon, as they have already cleared others around town.
