Nearly finished?

The Teddington Lock footbridge has been undergoing refurbishment for months. It is now nearly finished I hope. Today the workmen were painting the blue railings on the approach section. It’s looking drab as it was such a dull day..it will be brighter in sunshine!

This morning we looked after our grandson while his sister was at a football session. He did some piano practice on our old keyboard which he likes as it has lots of sound effect. He did some drawing and we made an origami owl. This afternoon I took him to an Art workshop and I then walked back along the High Street to look at the Wedding dress shops as a cousins daughter is visiting one of them on Sunday. One sells just new very expensive designer type dresses. The other shop deals in some second hand or ex display type models but even these start at £1000! Weddings are very expensive these days for the parents of the bride, and maybe the groom too!
I also walked to see the Teddington Lock bridge. There is still work to do to tidy the area and the river frontage.

When our daughter got married they had a few photos taken on the bridge as it is near the church.
