Halloween!

This is a postbox topper which only appeared a couple of days ago. I’m not a fan of Halloween and there are not that many displays in houses near us but…tonight at 6.30pm as I was driving about a mile along a road nearby I counted 17 groups dressed up and presumably going trick or treating. Some families with small children but some were small groups teenagers.

We had the grandchildren overnight, they didn’t wake until seven which was good. After breakfast their parents collected them so not much time to play but they did look at all the musical ‘instruments’ from foreign lands and had a go at drumming etc.

I decided to go for a bike ride, still very busy at Hampton Court. We also collected a children’s bike which I bought secondhand and had serviced at our local bike shop. New price £350… the exact same bike has cost about £170 in total…a bit scuffed in places but working well with new chain and brake blocks etc.

I then went to a spinning class which I found hard work as have not done one during the summer months…I will have to go more regularly.
