Hallowe’en

The girls across the road have had great fun putting this together. We’ve already had a few little visitors and handed out treats. I remember years ago, when the grandchildren were much younger and happened to be staying here, they joined in with the village children, dressing up and visiting.

Yesterday evening I joined a livestream of a visit made by Ali Smith to Portobello Bookshop to talk about her new book. She is so entertaining. Ali has a special link with this lovely bookshop and has dedicated her new book to them. My signed copy which I purchased from them is on its way to me.
