Why . . .

We have a robot lawn mower, so why can’t we buy a robot leaf rake?  I’d settle for a robot leaf vacuum, or even a robot leaf blower providing it blew the leaves completely away!
 
Actually it is Saturday, and that leaf covering is light compared to what it will be later.
 
Leaf blowing always reminds me of the second autumn we were here (twenty years ago).  Mum (Mrs W’s mum who had moved into the granny flat – our reason for moving here) bought me a leaf blower for my birthday.  I blew all the leaves under the hedge for mulching.  The next day one of my neighbours said that he had swept up the leaves???  It took me a while to realise that I had blown the leaves under the hedge into the road . . .  !!    :-))
