One last try . . .

My rose that won’t die is still having a go.  This is one last bud on the very top of one of the stems, and it’s been looking very sad for more than a week or two now, and I nearly pruned the bush some time back.  It’s been such a beautiful day that it joined so many other flowers around the village and opened up.
 
The sun was shining over the fence making it dark behind the rose, so it took only minor adjustments in developing to get the black background.
 
 
Early Sunday dinner for us today.  Biskit’s mum and dad are due back about our normal dinner time so we are eating early so that the hound can have  his dinner with us – roast chicken, his favourite.
