Stobo 2024

It’s that time of year again when the trees turn autumnal, their leaves start  spiralling down to earth, the morning mists hang heavy above the ground and the Daughters and I spend 2 nights at Stobo  celebrating sisterhood. 2nd daughter is missing this year being on a medical meeting in China and we will have to manage without her. Five of us will sit down to meals which bear no relation to what is or was called a health Spa.

One of the  son-in -laws has done a ‘Sandy’ and provided us with 3 bottles of Champagne which we found on arrival and which are cooling in an ice bucket as I type. Not knowing this, daughter #3 has also provided 2 bottles of Prosecco which are also cooling, but in the bath.  Hopefully they will not be required, we know our limits!

One daughter has gone for a jog and the other three are out for a stroll. I am happy to take a few outdoor photos while the weather is sunny and warm. Exercise for me can wait until tomorrow.
