Dinner
Hubby always performs preventative maintenance on all our lawn equipment in the fall. He worked on our lawn tractor and push mower this morning. He is very particular with his equipment and it lasts longer than average. I made breakfast and enjoyed it on the front porch. Then we went back into the front garden. Hubby helped dig up a terrible weed that wants to take over the garden. Its roots are extensive; I am unable to dig them up. The vinca vine had also gotten out of hand so he dug up every tendril that he could find. I trimmed off dead branches from the azaleas, cut back the liriope and collected all the debris. Hubby threw away the trash and I put away the tools we used. Tomorrow he will mulch while I trim bushes by the driveway. We were exhausted. We had more meds to pick up so we went to the base pharmacy after showers. The “passenger air bag is off” indicator is on again in hubby’s SUV. We just paid hundreds to get it fixed. Wondering if they replaced a part while having no idea if that would fix the problem. We had to pay $175 just to have them look at it again. Our appointment is tomorrow so hubby will leave it at the dealership tonight and I will pick him up. Hubby decided we’d go to Olive Garden for our late lunch/early dinner since we were so tired. I was definitely hungry. Hubby chose chicken and shrimp Carbonara. I chose chicken and broccoli fettuccine Alfredo. Both were delicious. We had salad first. Neither of us could finish even half of our meal. We also ordered two of their take out mini meals. We’ll be enjoying Italian meals for days. Wishing you an enjoyable evening. Stay safe. Thanks for dropping by. "The trouble with eating Italian food is that five or six days later you're hungry again." – George Miller
