View From My Kitchen Window
Hubby had to leave by 8:00 am to attend our friend Joe’s funeral. He was a 4th degree Knight so they rendered honors before his funeral. Hubby was expecting a package that I had to sign for so I was unable to attend. I made breakfast and headed out to work on my front garden (again). That garden is so big and full of spent perennials. It takes days to completely clean it up. Today, I made great progress but had to stop before it was completely cleaned and mulched for winter. Maybe tomorrow. I decided to show you my daily view of this gorgeous maple tree. Didn’t want to put it off in case we have a windy day and the leaves drop. Hubby came home, changed clothes, ate lunch and headed out again. He picked up some groceries and meds. Dropped them at the house and headed out once more for a follow up with his orthopedic doctor. The brace has helped his knee for sure. I washed two loads of laundry in between pulling up bee balm. I’ll fold them and call it a day. Hubby decided to mow the lawn. Bet we’ll both sleep well tonight. Leftovers for dinner. Wishing you a comfy night’s sleep. Stay safe. Thanks for your visit. “As long as autumn lasts, I shall not have hands, canvas, and colors enough to paint the beautiful things I see.” – Vincent Van Gogh
