Rainbow after the rain

After yesterday's hectic day, it was a bit quieter today.  Storm Ashley visited with strong wind and rain.  The worst has gone now and we have sunshine although there are still heavy showers and wind.

O and family were due to come for tea but he's been ill and is  still not right while C now has it.  They cancelled the meal so that they wouldn't spread their germs.  I had made an early birthday cake as he's going to London on a course on the day (Tuesday)  so I took the cake to their house so that they can still eat it.

On my way home after a very heavy shower, I saw this beautiful rainbow so stopped the car to get a blip.
