Budapest day four

A productive day at work followed by a delightful evening.

I met up with Eva’s friend Orsolya - we ran the Mammothon briefly together a year a so ago - and we got the bus up to the Buda hills. We had a lovely run and she was great at stopping off at lots of little viewing points for me. It was good to hear a bit more about Budapest from a local and most interestingly, what it was like to have lived through the end of communism here (though she was only a youngster).

A thoroughly lovely time together and it was so nice to have a guide. This evening I just managed a trip down to the local Thai where I ate too much food. I’ve got the next three days off and so I decided to have a night in ready for the proper exploration to begin tomorrow! Also excited to meet up with Agi who I haven’t seen since she left Shrewsbury about seven years ago.
