Squeeze

I worked in the office today. There were lots of colleagues in, so there was a good vibe.  I was busy, but managed to pop out for a very quick twenty minutes just to get some fresh ait.  I had a very uninspiring look in a couple of shops – but couldn’t find what I was looking for.  It was then back to the office to sort out a tricky situation.  I was glad when that was done, and even more delighted to be leaving the  office earlier than I normally do, though slightly later than I had planned to leave.  I raced along Princes Street and up Lothian Road to meet TT and a couple of friends for an early tea.  We had very tasty curry.  We then headed to the Usher Hall for the highlight of my week – the Squeeze gig, on their 50th anniversary tour.  They were superb.  It was a fabulous concert – we loved it.  Badly Drawn Boy was the support act.  He seemed a bit lost in the Usher Hall.

To round off a fabulous evening, we bumped into friends who had also been at the concert.  They offered us a lift home, which we jumped at.  That meant we were walking into the house, at the time we should have been getting on the bus in Edinburgh.
