Doctors Creek…..

At this particular section of Doctors Creek it divides into two branches. One stream is to the south and the part of the stream on the right heads to the west. Minutes before I captured the scene, an enchanting little duck family paddled past me, heading downstream. The parents were busy herding eight or more tiny, dinky, wee ducklings. The mother was rounding up one wee one that was lagging behind. I had Maisie safely on her lead so there was no threat to this duck family. It was an innocent little event that made my heart sing.
