A Profusion of Mauves….

A couple of years ago family members cut back the Wisteria which had grown almost wild over the beams of the patio. It had even become entangled in the nearby flowering cherry tree. It certainly had a severe pruning. I worried that it would survive. But no, it did survive and spring back with new growth the next spring. It makes quite a a mess when the flowers fade and petals fall but I don’t mind that because I love its delicate colours and tones.
