Going clear

Beautiful day today with nary a cloud in the sky.

A nice boon to World Mental Health Day. Maybe a little offering to all those who are dealing with something and a reminder that just because the day before was a horror show, it doesn’t mean that the next one will be too.

This too shall pass.

I took an early lunch and went out for a wander at the earliest possible opportunity, taking in the gorgeous colour changes in foliage and, as ever making time for a hot chocolate from the best place in town.

I snapped this one on my back home where I had a surprisingly productive afternoon and got a few of those annoying work tasks checked off.

Nice catch up with my parents for a bit before getting more supplies in advance of m’boy’s birthday gathering tomorrow. Looking forward to having everyone around and getting stuck into the weekend.

Finished up the day chatting away in the company of a good friend whilst making a fuss of her cat.
