Wobbly stripiness

Blipping late for we're just back from the cinema - watching The Outrun with Saoirse Ronan in the lead . An excellent book and the film does not disappoint Saoirse entirely believable and conflicted, and Orkney looking wild and magnificent. Recommended. 

We had chips afterwards and ate them down at the pier, then I persuaded Himself to take the long route home on the North side looking out for auroras. Very chilly (4c) and magnificent clear skies but nothing aurora-like yet.

A gorgeous crisp and sunny day and I have spent all of it in the garden - a gunnera put to bed, the edges of the pond cut down and tidied and several brambly areas tamed.  The interior of the gunnera - that weird bright pink thing - was my second choice for Abstract Thursday.

The shower room is looking good - the cubicle dismantled, rebuilt and now the tiles are going up (a very dead rat found under the floorboards!)

The multi-coloured buildings in Bantry which you've seen many times before, looking good in the evening sun and the gulls gathering for a powwow.
