Cullen
Well after another quick turnabout here I am holed up in Cullen for 3 nights to celebrate daughter#1’s very important birthday and also I suppose for me to celebrate becoming a new Mum.
Apart from a small drama with the windscreen wipers we drove north in a light drizzle but arrived to find Cullen dry and bright.
We had a short walk around and Sally found many people she knew to talk to having spent the last decade living here.
We escaped for a swim in the harbour pool before having aperitifs provided in absentia by daughter #3 for taking to Cullen.
We have been invited for drinks this evening before we get a fish supper to eat before the flat’s log fire. Can it get any better? The answer is yes as we go for a meal with Sally’s late partner’s family tomorrow on her actual birthday.
