The Ugly and the Beautiful

I’ve quite exhausted myself doing more chores in the house than usual today and so I’m really looking forward to my TGIF Drinks at Butta Burger with the neighbours later.

I thought the juxtaposition of the ugly weeds growing beside a pipe beside the old Jenners building and the cheery sunflowers for sale in Tesco was a pictorial metaphor for life in general. 

It was lovely and sunny if a little blowy this morning but now it’s dull and if the forecasters are anything to go by, there’s a deal of rain coming our way with a flood alert for Porty tomorrow. Not looking good for the daughter’s birthday swim at Seacliff in the morning.
