An Apple A Day Keeps My Doggy At Play

My dear departed Ollie dog used to choose a windfall Cox apple to take on our morning walks and would stop to eat it on the way round. I'm so pleased that Mishka likes apples too. She is collecting windfalls and gathering them in a sort of nest with her favourite ball. She loves it when I kick one for her to chase and brings them indoors for a snack.

Rain nearly all day again. We went for a walk at 5:30 and I found the caterpillar in extras. I think it could be a ruby tiger. I haven't seen a ruby tiger moth lately but I have photographed one on our property years ago.
