Tuesday: Next Year’s Butterflies …
… and a ladybird, which may be a Harlequin … help from the experts would be appreciated :-)
After a very wet day yesterday and throughout the night, the rain has finally stopped! Temperature in mid-teens, some blue sky too! And an incredibly beautiful sunset this evening :-)
MrD had a dentist appointment and came back happier than when he left - a new dentist had repaired his problem teeth and filed down the rough edges too.
I potted on the Celery with red stalks, which are growing well - I’ll grow them on in the greenhouse unless we get a heatwave!
Started off some salads for the winter: Red Cabbage, mixed spicy salad leaves, Icicle Radish (long white), American land cress, Rocket, Kale thousand headed, Chicory “Rosa di Treviso”, Red Veined Sorrel, Wild Chicory, Lambs Lettuce (Corn Salad) - all sown in cells and protected by clear plastic storage containers.
Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
