Stained Glass

St Alkmund's Church in Whitchurch, Shropshire. An ancient , imposing and attractive church. 

This is in haste and I'm afraid there's no time for blip this week. 

Our friend from Wales had an awful journey to Whitchurch but by 7pm we were all together. My other friend and I had had a relaxing swim and had time to get changed out of our travel clothes. We ate in the hotel (pretty good) and I had an early night and a good sleep.

This morning the rain stopped so after breakfast  we walked into the town, wandered about, had coffee, then tea, wandered some more and returned to base. We've just had more tea and the chat has been non stop. We are now preparing to go out to eat yet again. This evening is the celebratory meal and we are looking forward to sprucing ourselves up (to some degree. Let's not go overboard). 

The town is very interesting and has some pretty buildings. 

I meant to swim again today but the chat has been more important.
