Misty morning

I got the dog up and out early reasoning it was wet so why wait. Put his coat on which made him lie flat down and resist moving, like an eco-warrior.   Finally with the lead on I got him out and as often in these cases it was a lovely, moody walk.  Spotted shaggy ink cap mushrooms and wondered again whether to pick them.  Decided not to. 

I wonder why they haven’t cut this corn when the other has been in the shops for weeks.  Might be maise. 

I have decided to go back onto the 5:2 diet - to try and knock more summer weight off so I didn’t eat today until the evening.  Surprisingly easy - well for now. 

Watched the last ep go out live and enjoyed loads of texts from people still watching on transmission.  The iplayer figures are good, so are the consolidated so fingers crossed.
