School

We walked to the playground with the children and on the way back decided to show me and Ivy the school she’ll go to next autumn.  She became obsessed, apparently because she watches a show on CBeebies about reception class, and wouldn’t come away.  She wanted more than anything to go in and when we finally dragged her away she said ‘school’ all the way home and long after.  

As it was RBS on our line we had to drive and it’s a long drive, over two hours, no massive issues.  Lunch was a tuna and bean salad, very delicious , from Beetle and an apple cake that I made from a recipe of Rachel’s (note to self, the page is stored in Nigel Slater’s Tender II). 

Home around 6.30, V cooked cauliflower cheese and we watched Nightsleeper ep 5 .  Poor Vikram, I’m not letting him binge it!
