BEEN

We had a slow start today but the washing is done then I had a rush of blood to the head and decided to clear out my painting/sewing room. It was almost impossible to get in the door. I started gently - with the pile of knitting needles. I have kept 2 pairs of each size neatly stored in a holder my sister-in-law once made me and bundled the rest, took a photo and posted on WhatsApp groups. Linda wants them.

Next I cleared the desk - I found old Christmas cards, a pile of Italian notes and books from the 6 or 7 years I tried to learn that lovely language. None of it has stuck. There were notes from assorted WEA literature classes which have all been binned as well as all the research for various U3A discussion group presentations.

Then it was assorted bags of gift bags and wrapping paper but I have still have to do the bags of knitting and crochet wool. Maybe tomorrow. The main task for tomorrow though is trying to apply for my driving licence renewal - it looks very complicated but would be best done on-line. Oh and applying for a Covid booster.

Someone told me about an app called BEEN - you can see the countries you have visited on a map. This is the European one of mine. I am missing 3 countries - apparently San Merino is a country- the other two I’ve not been to are Moldova and Belarus.
