Last Jude the Obscure
We had a great time last night. It was bus to Finsbury Park where Chloe had booked a table at a small restaurant owned by a Sicilian family. The downside was it was very noisy though luckily Mr C and Graham were furthest away from the other tables. It was great to see Tracey again though her life is very busy and stressful just now. Her dad in Wales is unwell so she goes every 2 weeks on the train to see him plus the firm she works for has been taken over by a US one. She hopes they might make her redundant as she wants to do a PhD in art history. The home cooked food was delicious too. I had ravioli stuffed with sea bass in a delicious sauce. Another late night was had.
We got the tube from Turnpike Lane this morning to Kings Cross for the train to Newcastle then metro to pick up the car. Luke was cooking the tea for the children who had to get home from school clubs then out to Live Theatre for their drama club. Nathaniel (along with hundreds of not thousands of others!) got his tape sent off to audition for the new Harry Potter.
A quick visit to the Co-op on the way home then the heating got put on - it’s 10 degrees. First lot of washing is in the machine. A quick dash round the garden to find a blip and now relax.
That’s us at home now for a while!
