Notes: Slept pretty good again and up around 7a. Went for a nice brisk jog in 50's temps - was lovely! In the morning then, Mom and I hit Country Cupboard, Forrest for Chevy car wash, bank, Dollar General and Family Dollar, Once 'n Again (one more time!). I packed a box then to ship back and ran it to USPS - no one there! Quick stop at Ace Hardware to ask about glass nail files (they didn't have). Back and organized, packed up some, hung up laundry. Mom rested then and I was just online for awhile. We headed out then 330p-ish for a new restaurant in Eureka to celebrate Mom's bday - Pickled Radish Provisions. We had truffle parmesan fries cooked in tallow!!! They ordered fried shrimp and parmesan crusted cod meals and I ate little bits of theirs. B/c we were celebrating Mom's bday, they gave us a free flourless choc cake w/ toasted marshmallows - so good! I drove us back and we stopped at the shop. I spent much of the evening getting packed up then. Hurricane Helene passing by our area in FL is really bad - lots of Gulfport underwater and Susan and Ellen's parking lot is full of water and the storm surge is still coming. Tired and went to bed ~10p.
