The Pet Show

Firstly thank you to everyone for the lovely comments and support you offered me yesterday I'd had a difficult day, a strange thing also I picked up this mornings papers and read of the death of a football legend Bert Trautmann.

He may not be a legend to many younger people but he was a legend to my dad, Bert played in goal for Manchester City and my dads claim to fame was during training when dad played for Man City he scored a penalty against Trautmann, why was Bert so good, well not many players have played in a cup final with a broken neck sustained during the 75th minute, the team won and on collecting his medaal was asked why have you got a crooked neck, it wasn't till it was X rayed that they realised it was broken.

Well enough of the footie talk... Today we went off to Stoneleigh in Warwickshire to visit The pet show a large show involving Dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, cattle and reptiles and a few chicks running round.

Roo came along with me and whilst standing minding his own business we got stopped by this lady asking where Roo got his Superman Bandana, she wanted one for her pet raccoon!!
