Super Hot

It was a little cooler when I set out to work this morning, but by the time work had ended and I did a walk it had gone really warm again.

I discovered a new walk today around the national trust property grounds and we walked through fields of freshly rolled hay.

Years ago I use to help out at this time of the year with hay making, it was bales in those days and it was the hardest work you could imagine many blisters and bites sustained , but it was also good fun.

Roo was born on a farm in Shropshire and even though he came to me at the age of 8 weeks he seems to still have a thing about farms and straw and hay, he would be happy to spend hours mousing I'm sure.

So here he is a little warm and taking a break between the bales.
