change in nutritional strategy
Decided to forsake the traditional flapjack and energy bar re-fuelling strategy in favour of the cupcake strategy. I think this is something that is going to continue - they are light to carry, particularly easy to eat and an excellent calorie count. Plus the icing provides a smashing wee sugar boost.
Fantastic ride this morning but a wee bit of faffing about with so many people to organise and meet at various points along the way. Out for just short of 4 and half hours but with about 3 hours 15 minutes riding time. My big running buddy came out with us and I was well chuffed to have him along. Think that he definitely has the cycling bug.
