Newhaven sunset

There's a slight danger I'm going to get behind myself here....busy days.

Tuesday was a full day, with non stop meetings, and then afterwards I took myself off to Newhaven hoping to get supper at The Fishmarket. They had no tables available, so I had to get takeaway supper, but that allowed me to sit facing the water and then see the sunset (although I did get a bit chilly). I had time to pop to the supermarket to pick up a couple of tinnies to take with me to the Leith Folk Club concert with Evangeline Gentle, who was excellent. Beautiful voice and resonant songs. She deserves a decent audience - a little bigger than she got in Newhaven.

Home through spitting rain and collapsed into bed. It was actually quite cold, so I was relieved I'd changed the duvet earlier in the week. I was proper cosy once I'd warmed up.
