Action men

12 busy men in hi vis. But so little visible progress. There was plenty of audible progress later in the day, as some more men in hi vis spent hours and hours over by Anderson Place using a stone cutter preparing lengths of stone for the edges of the new road. But it all still looks a mess, and those trees still look in danger. It certainly doesn't quite look like it did in the mind's eye of the architect and designers.

Ages ago, we could see that the builders were preparing a show apartment for viewings with direct access from Anderson Place. It still hasn't opened to visitors. It often seems that progress is snail like on this development. They were quick enough to block our view. But slow to get the whole thing finished so at least we will have neighbours and, frankly, less dust and noise in the neighbourhood.

First thing this morning, I decided to have another day working at home, and it's been pretty productive. I had no in person meetings plus an appointment at the health clinic in the afternoon for a routine check up. I also managed a rather good peloton workout in the morning. So all in all, it made sense to work from home although it was a little noisy at times. New issues have, however, stacked up a bit during the day, and there will be little time over the next two days to get to grips with them, as Tuesday and Wednesday involve back to back meetings, but I can hopefully catch up again on Thursday and Friday in Tain.

Hoping to get my book finished this evening.
