Richard was so much better today after dialysis yesterday. So we drove to the National Trust Blickling Estate. Normally Richard would only manage a very short walk. However I and a very helpful volunteer persuaded him to try a mobility scooter. This enabled him to join me for walk round the gardens and through the estate. It was transformational as he could enjoy the views and appreciated being able to cover greater distances.
Bickling was mentioned in the Domesday Book and the original Tudor Mansion that once stood here was thought to be the birthplace of Anne Boleyn.
The weather started damp but then graced us with the odd break in the clouds. We both really enjoyed our day out.
