Creake Abbey and Holkham Hall

I started the day with a bike ride to Burnham Market the birthplace of Horatio Nelson. I called in at Creake Abbey on the way back and enjoyed a coffee at the cafe. The Abbey was used largely as a hospital. A good way to explore the back roads near where we are staying.

After picking Richard up from his dialysis we decided on a short trip to Holkham Hall walled garden. Still some colour to enjoy plus a vineyard and lemon trees. Lovely to see the deer roaming by the lake.

We’ve been fortunate with the weather to date but change is on the way so will see what tomorrow brings before deciding what to do.
