The Detectorist

We had our share of rain this morning - steady, not torrential though. I spent the time indoors building a Lego model (a kingfisher) that I got as a present for my recent birthday.

I  finished by mid afternoon, and it had stopped raining…so I popped out for a short walk - just 2.5 miles :-)

I spotted John (a neighbour) out in the field with his metal detector, so I grabbed a shot. Don’t know if he found anything today - but I do know that anything he does find is collected in a bucket at home and is periodically exchange for cash at the metal recyclers!

My Lego model may make an appearance on blip later in the week if the predicted rain materialises…
