Poppy

Poppy is 14 and in their village - Moniaive - there is always something going on. This weekend it was the village fashion show. There were by all accounts some wacky outfits but Poppy looks gorgeous. Her Mum cut the top of her head off!

I made some delicious vegan burgers today and froze some. Don’t ask for a recipe because I made it up as I went along! I just ground up sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, red pepper, onion, carrot, a tin of chickpeas with the liquid, added mixed herbs, Engevita, Boulionne powder, black pepper, salt, ground flaxseed, dried sourdough bread, egg replacer and added buckwheat flour to bind it. It sounds a lot of ingredients but I just bunged them in the food processor. You could add anything really. Delicious and healthy.
Did a bit of art and played ukulele.
In between all that I had a nap and woke up to find myself alone in the house. Frank had walked to the next village with Bella for a pint.
It was a lovely sunny day.
