Another Day…

…another beach or 2 or 3.
When we opened the curtains this morning another massive ship was just passing our window, there are so many sailing by and I love it!
After breakfast we went up the the coast to Amble, Warkworth Castle,
Druridge Bay, and Cresswell beach. All beautiful places - sandy beaches, pebbly beaches, rock pools - I beach combed for sea glass and found a few pieces. There were lovely craft shops and we went to a beachside restaurant for coffee and cake - Banana and Blueberry, yum! A starling flew down and helped himself to the crumbs off my plate.
When it was time to go Bella would not follow us (extra) she went down to the water’s edge and lay down. We called and called but she didn’t budge.
Frank had to go and put her lead on and even then she would walk a few steps and lie down again. He had to pull her up the beach and she dug her paws in all the way. Little madam, but I understood as I didn’t want to leave either! She will be most upset tomorrow when we leave for home.
The place we’re staying in will definitely get a 5 star review from us on TripAdvisor, it has been wonderful, the staff, the food, the bar, the room, everything just perfect. 
We should be home tomorrow afternoon and we’ll see if the guys have been working on the extension…
