Hannah est arrivée

When we booked this place we were expecting that three or four of the kids would come and stay while we were out here, but for various reasons - new jobs, moving city, and so on - only Hannah is coming to visit. Not that I have any complaints about that!

The Minx and I drove up to Nantes to meet her from the airport at lunchtime, today. It all went very smoothly and Hannah was on fine form; she's just had a few days away with some school friends on Minorca, so she was relaxed and happy. 

It's a couple of hours drive each way to the airport so by the time we were home, and Hannah had had a bit of time to freshen up and settled in, we were all ready for a bite to eat. 

We walked up to the beach, just so Hannah could see it, and then came back to the hotel that's just around the corner from the house for dinner.
