7.45am. Spilt my coffee in the cutlery drawer……..

………necessitating moving the whole contents into the washing up bowl, and rinsing.them, before going into the garage to get the mop and bucket in order to clean the floor where the rest of the coffee landed!
It would have made a good video in slow motion!
Stephen had to be up early to get to the Dental Hospital in Birmingham for a checkup at 9:00am! He left at 8:00am to drive there.
At least it is not a cold morning. I then poured myself a fresh mug after heating some milk in the microwave, (I always like warm milk in my coffee). Then I sat on the patio and drank it.
My dressing gown will now go in the wash as the coffee was no respecter of persons!
But, before that happens, to take out my utter frustration of what had happened to spoil the calm of my early morning drink, I mowed the bottom lawn just by the patio window, in my dressing gown.
That made me feel a whole lot better!
As I moved the bird bath, very carefully lifting off the bowl to stand it on the patio table, then I kind of roll the base bit by bit onto the patio itself. To my amazement there was a mini ant nest which looked like a small volcano, standing underneath, as the plinth of the bird bath is hollow tapering up inside the foot. Needless to say after I’d mown the grass, which smelt lovely afterwards, I replaced the bath very carefully.
It is now only 8:30am and our cat visitor has been mooching round the kitchen and back lounge, (where I am writing this account).
Shortly I will finally make my breakfast porridge.
This afternoon I am going to a Blipmeet, at Blipper Rainette’s, with Hanna4Home, and Wyldewander. Looking forward to that!
Pub lunch first with hubby at 12:15pm.
